What’s New For Ski-Doos In 2023

Ski-Doo commemorates the 20th anniversary of its ground-breaking 2003 MX Z REV by revealing its new model lineup for the 2023 model year. Their newest platform, REV Gen5, is making history once more to mark the event! For 2023, the revamped REV Gen5 is available in two platform types (Deep Snow and Trail), each with unique innovations to raise their performance and style to new heights. To elevate the riding experience, Ski-Doo is adding several new features to its Ski-Doo snowmobile lineup this year. Whether you are an expert snowmobiler or a beginner subscriber, BRP has a vehicle designed to meet your demands. Here is a list of the best new products.

Engine: 850 E-TEC Turbo R

With the release of the R version of the 850 E-TEC turbo in 2023, Ski-Doo will step up the competition for mountain snowmobilers, giving 180HP up to 8000 feet. The engine's parts have been updated to produce all this horsepower sustainably. For instance, the engine head's design has been altered to enable improved cooling of the spark plugs and the injectors, and the drive pulley. It's vital to note that only the Summit new snowmobile range offers the R version. Trail Snowmobiles still use the normally aspirated model.

REV Gen5 Platform

The REV Gen5 Trail Platform features a new design, long-awaited LED lighting, and a sizable colour display in the dash for a more upscale experience with a better connection. The four LED headlight modules provide a superior riding experience at night. Fourth engine mounts for improved clutch alignment and drive belt endurance, a reduced degree of noise, vibrations, and harshness, and an extra 10.25" Color Touchscreen Display for a more connected experience are all features of Gen5. With all the features riders have been clamouring for from the Ski-Doo lineup, it elevates trail riding to new heights.

New MXZ 120 and Summit Neo

Ski-Doo is releasing four mid-size models in 2023 to make the game more inexpensive and exciting. These revolutionary sleds bridge the gaps between full-size and minis! The Neos are superior, easier to manage, appealing, enjoyable, and easy to use for everyone, especially smaller riders and newcomers. The latest Kid-Sized MXZ neo 200 and 120 Kid-sized sleds reunite the family.

All ages can ride now! These two tiny versions can help kids get "That Ski-Doo Feeling" from an early age. These two pieces of equipment are built in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, using Yamaha four-stroke engines due to a supply deal with Textron Specialized Vehicles.

Adjustable Brake Lever

For 2023, the Ski-doo Summit Expert Package will include a customizable brake lever to match its high-end features. This lets users customize braking ergonomics, such as utilizing one or two fingers. Adjustable brake levers have a 20-mm range and Tool-less adjustment. The 2023 Freeride includes this component.

Expedition LE Offers a 24" Track

The ski-doo Expedition LE now offers a track width of 24 inches. The available all-year LE package now has the option of a 24-inch-wide track, and all variants of the Expedition have increased the number of engine choices, with several of them including the option of a 180 horsepower Turbo R.

Return of MXZ Blizzard

MXZ Blizzard supersedes MX Z TNT and the Spring-only MX Z X-package. This year-round premium package offers the most popular features. The Latest REV Gen5 Blizzard boasts KYB PRO 36 Simple Adjust shocks front and back and rack steering for extreme trail riders. The only Spring-only MX Z model now is the X-RS.

New SE and LE packages are now available for 20" and 24" wide track versions from Skandic.
